Now this shirt really confuses me but I think just because it is brilliant and I am not.

I think it's what Leandra (my dear amigo) of The Man Repeller would call a mullet shirt...BUT not quite. The party is definitely in the front. RED? LEOPARD? CROPTOP? and then an elegant batman cape in the back.

It's like Lord Voldemort's two sided face.

LONDON FASHION WEEK: ASHISH

Ashish's 2012 S/S collection is my Grandma's dream come true, I can see her sauntering in to Tuesday drama group in a matching Ashish top and trouser combo and owning the whole village hall. The collection takes his signature sequins and plays with a classic element that lives in everyone's wardrobe, floral. The collection is transgender, Gupta's pieces are collar to hem in sequins which makes something opposing to the typical femininity of a floral pattern and the density of sequins makes a luscious, slithery armour that every woman could love. The models wore conked out boots with flowers hanging out, already imagining Wilkinsons full of girls buying fake flowers, the odd one having to plump for the ones pre-glued in shitty glass vases, trying to prize them out to put in her freshly bought Doc Martens. The models themselves had tears of glitter and matte black lipstick, they looked like hardcore gardeners who use bottles on sticks instead of scarecrows. The whole collection reminds me of Vitalite, yet exudes glamour and luxury, something I'd have thought would be impossible. Ashish is giving the wanker sign to Laura Ashley, it's allotment-fabulous honey.

LONDON FASHION WEEK: BASSO & BROOKE AND PPQ

London Fashion Week is this for me; the boyfriend gets to watch football all day without feeling guilty and I drink Diet coke non-stop, prance around in all my clothes, have style.com refreshing every ten minutes and watch the LFW live stream.

It turns out I need the coke, as everything is so fucking mouth watering.

Basso and Brooke slathered lava, volcanos and all sorts of citrus amazingness onto fabric and blended it all into a collection as bright and sharp as a cystitis piss.

With PPQ, an unrealised desire for a Zorro ensemble was snake-charmed right out of me towards the end of the show. Like the last collection, PPQ have created a strong character for women. Not just a nod to something but a punchy embodiment and similar to Fall 2011 when all I could see was Catwoman pretending to be the Pope, this year it's female Zorro and her glamorous friend who works in telenovela.

There's a vivacious and prevailing hunk of a Jeremy in everyone's heart and as much as Jeremy Kyle might all have a place in yours, Jeremy Scott is in mine. His Spring 2012 collection is an amalgamation of My Name is Earl and what boys used to wear to school discos in the 90's, it's literally on fire with his usual signature of everything shiny and shimmery and his attention to creating the funnest prints on the planet. And the hillybilly grinch hair, duly noted. His clothes have resonated with me since his 'Eat the Rich' collection and this one is my dream - cacti, cowboys, leather and latex??? His clothes remind us that fashion is meant to be a fucking laugh.

However...as much as I love it, I'd not wear most of it.......you know the rest.

These are the things I WOULD wear, and sacrifice my rent for.

Breaking the format for one post only to feature the flawless craftsmanship and amazing design of Von Erickson, a props designer and in this case, jewellery maker that I stumbled across on Etsy. I'm the proud owner of the custom drip necklace, made in black, just for me and I cannot keep this gem of a man hidden any longer...the silicon necklaces and bracelets maybe aren't everyones cup of tea but they're really fun and so delicately crafted, and when worn with imagination, they can be beautiful.

Even though it's been eleven long years of growing, maturing and shaving since I wandered as a clueless year seven with curtains and a fluorescent Umbro bag, the first day of school outfit pressure remains. With Christopher Kane's nostalgia for school days spreading like a bush fire, first day backs don't have to be as disastrous as they used to be.

The 'Pence' floral trousers remind me of the leggings plastered on all toddlers in 90's Britain and Gareth Pugh has made it very easy, and I'm sure they're ECSTATIC, for emos to be fashionable with his clutch bag doubling up as a pencil case.
